Oddball Space is a community of artists all sharing their work on a platform thats aimed to create a friendly environment for all artists. It is run by Jacob Carter, Simona Hopewell and myself. We offer a range of opportunities that many artists can apply to be apart of and create work for.
For our first month after our launch, we did a charity art auction. Artists donated their work for people to bid on and give 100% of the winnings to a different charity each week. Over the month we raised £123 for 4 different charities.
Each week we also feature an artist who gets 3 posts on our instagram and a blog post that is created from a short interview about their practice. This helps them to reach new artists on a bigger platform.
